Why now?

10.03.2025

It's almost 5 years since I wrote these letters and tried reaching out to several leaders.
It is very much a possibility that none of them really received or read the letter.
Then I am thinking, even if they received and read it, there is nothing much they can do as they are bound by their own constitutions and this is a different subject all together.
So far away from a conventional thinking. And there are various interests to maintain status quo.
With the highest priority on defence, the spend is so enormous that, it is difficult to think outside that box.

But who is dying? Not the decision makers, for sure.
If the outcome of the war can decide the life or death of the decision maker, there would be no war in the modern era. So long as other people are dying, it is easy to take decisions!
When the subject matter is taken up by ordinary citizens, and a lot of them, then it catches everyone's attention and things will change. People will realise the futility of war mongering and creating challenges.

Unless ordinary citizens take it up as their responsibility this system will continue.

Let us raise voice to demand a change, begin with a serious debate, rather than just repeating age old attitudes and a primitive mindset. We are in the modern world. We want to live in peace and live happily.

Come, please put one step forward for peace. Just write a few thoughts of you on X.
It will inspire
